D10-120. THE CHAIR . . . Received more attention after the exposure was made then the cunning little lass. Gold was delicately painted on the edging and the design on the wood while the dainty miss remained relatively monochromatic. Light streamed onto her cute face and continued traveling across her dress accentuating the folds. What is it about the child? Her honest eyes searched for a reason why she had been seated in front of a large thing with a man standing next to it. I would bet her mom or dad was very near by. The dappled brightness on the floral patterned cloth keeps changing tonality every time I write a few words then look back at the kid. The single horizontal black line across one knee was a deep buff mark! Pale patina floats in the neutral space inside the brass mat. The silver is in superlative condition and the retaped sixth plate is kept in the bottom of a leather case. $255
