| EEW-194. WHAT WAS . . . Going on behind the lady while she sat calmly for her retaped sixth sized dag in an unidentified location? While she was rather plain I have examined the patterns in the cloth for several minutes, rotating the piece that is kept in a near mint leather case, and I still haven't determined any concrete explanation! Her maker was skilled and provided his client with good contrast and great depth. Color was added to her face. The white specks and brown stain upper left are less noticeable when the woman's image is studied. There are faint mat scraped in the patina. $95 |
