| EEW-145. TRULY . . . Couldn't the operator have selected a better pose for such a friendly freckle faced young woman who sat so patiently in that stilted position while her resealed sixth plate was made? The tinted tablecloth, partially painted with natural tarnish was placed too far forward. When the delightful damsel placed her arm on top at that angle the gal's hand ended up in the bottom center of the portrait. Because the subject moved her fingers during the exposure too much attention is drawn away from her pleasant face. Blue on the bow does draw our attention upwards, finally. The piece has excellent reflected depth. There are teeny bubbles in the glass on her elbow and the remainder of the specks is harmless. She is presented in a nice complete leather case. $145 |
