I wonder what Newcomer could have said to this young lad to make him look so perturbed! Perhaps he called him by a monicker more befitting a kid than the young adult that he is trying to display. But what an air of self assuredness that he projects with his dapper jacket and outfit that looks new or freshly laundered. This sixth plate is held in a full case and was taken after 1855. The imprinted 508 N. 2nd St. address on the case pad was used later, until 1860, in Philadelphia. The plate is in excellent condition and has been resealed. Someone years ago repaired the spine as well.
