A LAVENDER DRESS.

After I resealed this quarter plate, I told Casey it had a Christofle plate mark and he said, “Well that explains why it’s such a good dag!” Some plate makers were definitely better than others. This image is charming and well-tinted. The mother holds her children close, although everyone looks a hair uneasy. The baby, as you can see, the baby moved her hand mid exposure and I think mom moved her face. The boy stayed more or less still though. Their faces and hands are nicely tinted. The image has some edge tarnish and a handful of mold spiders. The one at the upper left has a few green spots in it.
