FATHER & KIDS AT THE ZOO

This quarter plate tintype is an unusual one. It’s difficult to tell what small creatures are in the cages, but dad looks to be trying to play with one while the younger kids’ bare feet dangle close to the cages. I guess zoo safety was different back then! The image is in fair condition with some marks, scratches and bends upward at the corners. There is also a bit of emulsion loss at the edges. The tin measures 3.5 x 5 inches.
