Half Plate

A LARGE FAMILY! There are more white dots on the surface (much less noticeable when the intact leather case is opened) then I expected to see. However, I am enthralled by the large group. I love the coat on the right side that was hidden underneath the fancy brass mat. Whomever the maker was just barely was able to place all these folks on his crudely polished resealed half plate image. The illumination barely lit the tallest two gents in the back row. Surprisingly, the depth is holographic and the richness of the daguerreotype still resonates. The complete leather case is nice.
