Maybe the daguerreotypist was using backlight or maybe it was just his natural aura, but it’s especially noticeable at the right side of the plate, don’t you think? This young, bearded gent’s sixth plate image comes in a whole case with a purple case made. The mid 1840s image is resealed and in very good condition with some tarnish at the edges and a few mold spiders too. His face has a light tint and his eye are a bit soulful.
HE’S GOT A GLOW ABOUT HIM.
