HOLDING A DAG OF HER KIDS?

Unlike many daguerreotypes of people holding images, you can see this one pretty clearly. It’s a quarter plate of standing children, who look like boys. The case pad is tinted a rich red. Underneath the image, there is a slip of paper identifying the woman as L.C. Todd. Her earnest sixth plate is in very good condition with a few little mold spiders and spots here and there. It is resealed and comes in a whole case.
