A STRONG PROFILE. Could this have been a poor oval depiction of Shakespeare carved on Ivory that was attached inside an oval of brass on top of a pristine ninth plate blue velvet covered case? I will let the next collector decide that facet of the package that includes a most handsome fellow who displayed a hint of a moustache. He had a face full of freckles along with striking clear blue eyes! And LOOK at the bowtie. And those puffs of hair. And those ruby red lips. Plus, he wore a white formal vest! The focus on the man’s archivally taped features was superbly sharp! Heavy old patina and a couple mold spiders don’t affect the brilliance of the likeness!
