“SARAH FITZ RANDOLPH”! David Clark operated his gallery at 11 Peace St. New Brunswick NJ, when Sarah’s parents brought their beautiful and quite precocious daughter to him for the production of her brilliant resealed ninth plate daguerreotype. Although the child moved, Mr. Clark saved the day because he contrasted her white dress against that midnight hued background.
