A KENTUCKY TEEN! Mr. Phipps from Lexington decided to vignette his young female patron with a gauzy haze across the bottom of her retaped ninth plate. Over time natural and very colorful patina formed to circle the lass inside her decorative brass mat. The girl wore teardrop earrings and a large cross on a slender chain that touched the top of her scooped, off the shoulder dress. She is kept in an exquisite Japanned Black complete case that was inlaid with mother of pearl chips. Further artistic work was also painted on the cover. Please see the second scan. The small keepsake is in nearly pristine condition.
