COULD HE READ? A precocious blonde haired boy sat in front of a camera and held an open book while his retaped ninth plate was taken. His lovely pressed and pleated shirt was perfectly rendered but he moved his face white the lens was uncapped. Broad oxidation along with flecks and specks are on the surface. His maker used red paint to tone his chubby cheeks and pouty mouth. The leather case is in two pieces.
