This young couple wore their finest fall fashions to the daguerreotype studio. Of course, the daguerreotypist told the gent he’d have to remove his very wide-brimmed hat as it would not fit in the frame of their horizontal portrait. The lovely woman was allowed to keep her bonnet on though. She holds a nice purse. This dag is not sealed and should be resealed with its original domed glass. We could take care of that for you. The image is in very good condition with some edge tarnish, a few other spots, and some minor mat abrasions. The case is a plastic geometric in good condition.
