Octagonal Sixth Plate

Out of stock

SKU: D18-4 Category:

WHAT A SHAPE! Ahhh . . . nope NOT referring to the female subject but rather the sixth plate octagonal that framed her refurbished portrait. I suspect that was the finest dress she owned. Although that looks like grime on the lower part of her face, certainly it wasn?t . . . was it? The lady wore a pin in the center of her collar with woven strands of hair underneath the glass. The marks near her left elbow are scratches in the original glass. The doubled white dots were other defects in the clear cover! Rouge was painted on her plump cheeks! Faint brown dots and tarnish are visible. The thermoplastic case is pristine.
