Mr. Woolls was taken on their resealed sixth plate with his little daughter “Sara E. Woolls”. They were fitted on the right side of a thermoplastic case that had two image compartments, because a woman, most likely Henry’s wife, was daguerreotyped holding their sleeping baby. Both images have oxidized inside the scalloped mat. There are brief mat marks too. Mold mites and a few meaningless specks are also visible. The baby?s white dress was really solarized. The pair of likenesses together seen side by side make a nice family grouping.
