Sixth Plate

STIFF AND SHOCKED! It almost seemed as though a conjurer mesmerized the child while the lens was uncapped and momentarily froze the kid in time. Her retaped sixth plate is kept in the bottom of a leather case. There is lovely patina inside the fancy oval outline. I kinda wonder if the extension of cloth to the right was hiding part of the subject?s parent, who was seated close by in case of an emergency; their offspring deciding to leap out of the child?s chair! There is a teeny black speck under the girl?s nose and a few more in the drop, small mat scrapes and a bubble in the glass by one shoe. Red was added to that thin necklace and along the edge of her sleeves.
