WHAT THE PLATE REVEALED. The seller of the sixth plate (to me) said that he resealed the lass with the original domed glass. Cool enough, because the depth was so deep I can walk around behind the child. When I received the dag I knew instantly it was a copy. I hadn?t noticed all those odd spots in the original dark scan, but being a curious sort, I removed the seal and was stunned to see clothing on the left and clothing on the right. A man?s jacket revealed that he was seated on the left while a woman?s dress on the right suggested that she was standing. The kid was copied and enlarged somehow UNLESS the original dag was a mammoth plate. The leather case is complete. A very interesting artifact!
