AN UNUSUAL DRESS. When I initially opened the fine thermoplastic case the shy girl?s outstanding garment immediately caught my attention. However, after carefully studying the resealed sixth plate I think the serene calmness of her mom and the woman?s subtle beauty touched my soul. What a lovely daguerreotype. The patina is spotted around the pair. There are a couple blue dots and a slight ping almost against the mat lower left. Mother and daughter truly resonate on their silver palette!
