And her sibling was rather plain but still attentive when the children were daguerreotyped on this retaped sixth plate. The operator paid extra attention to detail, using a very deft hand to delicately prick the girl’s jewelry then add red and gold to the keepsake pinned to the neckline of her striped dress. The silver is in excellent condition and the leather case repair (please see the second scan) was certainly unique!
