Nope, not the woman’s lips which were softly pursed, but that vertical cloth piece on her dress. I suspect those odd indentations were a result of buttons underneath or else the center fold was badly sewn. Anyway, the woman rested one arm on a book while gazing earnestly beyond the plane of her sixth plate dag that has a new seal. Tint was applied to her face. Her collar was naturally solarized light blue. The image has fine clarity and good reflected depth. There are a few tiny mat marks, odd lines that don’t appear to be scratches (seen at non-viewing angles) and inconsequential flecks and specks. The lady’s leather case is apart.
