A PLEASANT DEMENOR, Sixth Plate Dag

This man went to a daguerreotypist who could make a well-made portrait for his sixth plate image. The dag is sharp and the reflective depth nice. His eyes are bright and face lightly tinted. The he trimmed his beard and sideburns nicely while his hair could have used a bit more taming. The dag has a bit of a golden glow that was a little hard to convey in the scan. The image has a few mold spiders and comes in a case with a split spine.
