Sixth Plate

I THOUGHT . . . One thing when I purchased the child’s sixth plate that has a new seal, then re-evaluated my thinking after the dirty glass had been removed. There are a few less green dots, from copper protruding through the silver than I had imagined. The sharpness on her face is much better. Although the little girl seemed awestruck, maybe even startled during the exposure, she still has a strong presence. The lower center is soft because an inferior poorly ground set of optics were used inside the brass tube attached to a camera. Heavy tarnish, weird pale oval spots and mold growth are on the surface. A rare design is on the cover of a separated leather case. The diamond center contains a small circle that is surrounded by a large oval and filigree along the outer edges. The reverse is plain. Wouldn’t you love to own that painted wooden chair?
