I GUESS SHE STOOD . . . On that couch while the operator neatly crafted an impressive retaped sixth plate portrait. At first I thought because part of her dress was lifted she might have been seated, however the fabric could have been adhered to the couch. My inquiring mind does wonder why a smaller piece of furniture, draped over, was placed on the left side behind the child? Did the operator feel a need to have even more patterns in his piece? The girl doesn’t look very comfortable does she? The clarity of the dag is outstanding. Tiny mold spiders are well away from the kid, whose flesh was embellished with pigments. The cover is missing from her leather case.
