MAKING A MOVE SOON! When little boys stood next to a table and fidgeted with their fingers . . . well I am certain that the instant the dark slide covered the sixth plate inside the maker’s camera, this particular lad shed the heavy head support, crashing it to the floor and ran past the daguerreian yelling and screaming that he would never come back. OR once his ordeal had been concluded he might have politely said, “Mommy may I move now?” Who can ever know for sure? The lad’s retaped plate has a brown tone over all probably from thin patina on the surface. Darker oxidation and many mold mites are most obvious closer to the fancy oval mat opening. The late effort is kept in a pressed paper and leather case that is apart. There is a dimple directly above the table about shoulder height.
