FOR ONE SO YOUNG . . . The cunning little subject had absolutely perfect composure while she posed for her resealed sixth plate that was taken by Mr. Bartlett “Artist” who worked his trade in Hartford CT according to the information pressed into the cushion opposite his tiny patron. At a proper angle of view, the gal has nicely colored flesh tones. The deep depth is quite impressive. Looking into those large brown eyes provides a clue about Bartlett’s operation. He had a skylight installed above his patrons. There is quiet elegance on display, which is so surprising from such a tiny person. A couple minor mold mites are on the glittering silver. Above the child’s head against the mat is a faint hazy patch. Mat marks can barely be seen lower right side. The full leather case is nice too.
