THE COUCH’S CORNER. I bet he wasn’t the first tiny lad to have been seated on a stuffed sofa that was covered with floral patterned cloth. Do you notice a slight fabric clash between breathing boy and inanimate object? I wonder if in his later years he looked upon the newly sealed sixth plate (by someone else) with fondness or total fashion disdain? He was a cute little lad with pudgy features. And well behaved with only a hint of a scowl on his pursed lips. He probably intertwined a finger naturally while his hands rested across his waist. Mini mold mites and tiny white flecks along with fine patina are on the silver. Color was painted on the sitter’s face and hands. A leather hinge was added some time ago to complete his case.
