LOTS OF COLOR! The resealed sixth plate is held in a complete leather case that has a loose hinge. In the center of the cover a rectangular silver lozenge was applied as a decorative device. The gent was taken in a straightforward no nonsense manner! He looked directly at his maker?s camera while the exposure was done. Great reflected depth and extended contrast are easy to see. The softness of part of the gent?s face was due to a technical fault with the glass elements inside the brass lens. There are a few mold spiders, teeny black specks, patina and a blue stain on the fellow?s jacket and tie. I love the ?motion? created by the sweeping lines in the backdrop.
