ONE DIMPLE! Nope, not on the elderly lady’s chin but rather on the silvered surface of the superbly polished holographic mirror of her archivally taped sixth plate daguerreotype. The small “dent” is hard to find and was created when the operator was preparing his plate and accidently clamped the sides together too vigorously during the buffing. The dear woman sat with a complacent expression on her broad face. She was at peace with her maker. He rewarded her patronage with an excellent reproduction! Mold spiders have appeared over time. Gold was painted on her jewelry and a touch of rouge colored her cheeks. Yes the depth is holograph when her complete leather case is opened.
