GOOD LOOKIN’ FELLA. Nothing fancy about the teenager?s preserved sixth plate that is held in the bottom of a leather case. He dressed in his best outfit, ran a curry comb through his mane and waltzed into the local operator?s salon where he was instructed to be seated, place one arm on top of the book next to him, look into the lens and attempt to remain calm. All the boxes were checked in fine fashion. The condition is exceptional with minor mold spiders and a few specks. Simply a solid portrait where the lighting, contrast and tonality were all well above the norm.
