Sixth Plate

RATHER BORED. At the least, mother scrubbed her child?s face but probably realized they would be late for this appointment to have a restored sixth plate done if she spent time working soap and a cloth on his hands. Anyone who has children knows what I mean. Once seated in that painted wooden chair, the lad kind of lost interest while he looked directly at the lens. There were some weird lens soft spot issues happening as well as a skewed plate inside the camera I suspect. It never surprises me what people would accept out in rural America when a leather case was handed to them. Obviously his remembrance was taken home since it survived through the years in a nice full leather case. There are teeny mat scrapes and a few inconsequential specks plus patina that help this one-dimensional overly mid-gray dag.
