Sixth Plate

MOUTHING IT! It should be plain to all of us that these kids were siblings! And well behaved enough to sit side by side without quarreling during the time it took to make an exposure on their resealed silvery sixth plate image. I wonder why their maker decided to cover the seats they sat upon with a bolt of fabric. Could his chairs have been that ancient and worn? There is one blemish on the girl?s face probably from chemical contamination. The lad?s complexion has a few teeny brown marks. I don?t know how that one scratch on the gal?s dress happened. And at one non-angle of viewing the children, a glass scratch can be near the complacent gal?s head. They are in a leather case with a repaired hinge.
