SERIOUSLY . . . Couldn’t this guy have done anything about eliminating his “hat head of hair”? When he posed for his sixth plate that has been professionally restored I wonder if even a second thought was advanced for better hair care? Of course, it was likely that all of his male friends who had been taken in the 1850s also had the puffed out appearance around their ears, so his portrait probably would have been perfectly acceptable I guess. There is one small green dot on his snowy toned shirt, next to a fine silver pin. Some kind of white deposits are near his crystalline right eye. Patina follows the double elliptical shape of the brass mat. There are also a few other dots on the silvery mirror. The teeny marks on his neatly knotted tie are flowers. His complete leather case is well worn.
