THE LANGENHEIM BROTHERS . . . used the same style of complete leather case that contains this resealed, extraordinary sixth plate daguerreotype. The gorgeous youthful beauty is framed by patina and mold spiders but her countenance remains untouched. Stylistically, the brothers were certainly capable of created such a stunning work of art.
