A HARD STARE! The young man sat on an invisible piece of furniture with his arms folded across his stomach when he posed for this retaped sixth sized daguerreotype. The original paper seals were cut up from an unidentified daguerreian’s broadside. They are kept underneath the dark complexioned fellow inside his complete leather case that features a maiden scattering roses. There are some scratches and decay on the silver. The lad?s face was nicely tinted.
