Sixth Plate

AN ODD “VIGNETTE”! Oxidation has crept inside the oval sixth sized brass mat in a strange pattern and in various shades of colors. The kid?s resealed likeness seems to have been buffed in the wrong direction yet his splendid self came through to us today with sharp focus and fine contrast. Tinting was painted on the tablecloth and his flesh tones were colored also. That pigment seems to have dissipated somewhat leaving faint brown ?stains?. I bet his Tartan Plaid shirt was a brilliant rainbow of hues when he walked into the daguerreian?s operating room. The leather case is worn but still intact.
