SEATED INSIDE BLUE! One of these days I really must begin researching how different types of vignettes were created, since in the past year I have accumulated an abnormally large amount of examples, including the lady calmly posed for her resealed sixth plate. That is a bevy of green spots on the right near the brass mat. Aside from that area of decay and a bit of oxidation, the silver aged very well. The intact leather case was most popular circa 1845 but I suspect that the woman was taken a few years later.
