BLONDE HAIRED BLUE EYED! I suspect that the tried and true description worked adequately for this adorable girl who sat in a painted child’s sized chair for her resealed sixth plate daguerreotype. Her boldly patterned checkered dress must have been bright and multi-hued. She wore a teeny ring on one pinky finger and a necklace with several strands. The brown specks were part of the original process. A swath of oxidation is seen lower left while the gal was completely surrounded by naturals colors. She comes to the next collector in the bottom of a leather case.
