“1852” . . . Was penciled into the bottom of the chap’s complete sixth sized leather case that contained his magnificent resealed portrait! Full frontal light entered the space from above and behind the camera?s position. The daguerreian was a technical genius and he also had an eye for artistic excellence. He instructed his wicked handsome client to turn his torso away from the lens and look past the plane of this stupendously reflective mirror when it was situated inside the ?magic box? gathering his countenance. Obviously a one-dimensional reproduction of pixels is a poor rendering of his original holographic gem. Trust me folks, this guy is sensational!!! The dag was loose and there is one mat mark at the bottom and some scum nearby in the lower right corner. Red pigment was gently applied to the fellow?s freckled cheeks.
