GOT THE TIME? An intense gent was seated with his arm and hand on a tabletop that had a pocket watch facing the camera’s lens and either a couple leather dag cases or a small box for the timepiece. The retaped sixth plate is displayed in a complete light brown leather case. The likeness was made by an itinerant daguerreian circa 1845 and had previously been mishandled.
