Three Sixth Plates

CHARMING HUSBAND AND WIFE?. She holds his image. Each of these three sixth plates appears to have been made by the same maker. The ones of the man the same day, the one of her holding one of the pair, perhaps after his sudden and untimely death? She seems so sad in her portrait. Of course, that doesn?t have to be the case. He could have had his images made first and the daguerreotypist said, ?Hey, why don?t you hold one of you husband while I make yours?? Who can really know? What we do know is that each of these portraits is quite nice and in fine condition. They are resealed and come in half cases. Each has nice tinting and reflective depth.
