I get the impression that the little kid put up a fight while they were having their sixth plate likeness made. While mom and dad were resigned to stay still, he still moved a hair. Their dag is resealed and comes in a whole case. The image is in very good condition other than unfortunate dent just to the right of her head. I have a feeling it was done the day the dag was made.
