Casey and I agree that we’ve never seen this unusual case pad for J.W. Thompson of New York City before. Thompson is a scarce maker too. His name is also marked on the mat. The quarter plate dag is newly resealed and is in very good condition with some tarnish and a few little brown spots scattered about. There is some tinting on the tablecloth and her  face. The case is whole.
