HE WAS A LARGE MAN

…in stature and size.  Rarely are people of this large size seen in daguerreotypes.  I must saw though, I once had a sixth plate dag of a woman that would have made this man look…well, not so big!  The dag is held in a half case.  I have lightly cleaned it to remove brown spots and a dull overall staining.  He came away much brighter and better contrast, but there are some minor mat abrasions at the bottom center.
