This confident young woman certainly knew how to pose when she sat for her half plate dag. The unknown studio she visited was a fine one, as evidenced by the marvelous result, which comes in a fancy case with two turtledoves entwined on the cover. The woman wears a lace shawl and what appears to be a large cameo below her chin. Her dag is in fine condition.
