CHEMISTS?

The man on the left pours his friend a red-tinted concoction. There is a bowl on a table with perhaps a pestle sticking out of it. The seated man’s face has a scratch that gives him a weird mustache, but I can’t decide if it was intentional or not. The image looks good at one angle, but if you tilt it, you can see there is some surface mold, especially at towards the edges.
