CHIEF ROLLING THUNDER. I got the ID from another dealer?s variant of this card. The ID reads: ?Louis Belmont Newell: Known as Chief Rolling Thunder born in 1858 in Maine. Ran the Kiowa Indian Medicine Company. Started a traveling Wild West show as Chief Rolling Thunder.? It looks like that description was taken from the following web page Chief Rolling Thunder – Sideshow World. There is a fair bit more about him on other websites. The photographer on this card was R.W. Pearson of Arcade, NY. It is in good condition with some light marks and a few little spots.
