Oh, how my dad would have loved this sixth plate dag I found in Iowa this past summer! The boy wears a coat that is at least a decade out of date yet projects an assured posture. His little sister moved a hair and kept her huge straw hat on for the process. A colorist tinted the ribbon red. Their dag is in very good condition aside from some teeny black spots on the plate, which were made the day the dag was. They don’t really detract. The image is a true itinerant beauty. It is resealed and comes in a half case.
