GREAT TINTING.

This charming sixth plate date has some great tinting. The flowers are bright and her plaid dress is colored in red & green/blue tones. The little girl stayed still and holds a mother of pearl case, although the case the dag comes is leather. It has a split spine. The dag is resealed and the plate was super small, which led to the encroaching tarnish seen at the edges. Luckily, someone had taped it to the mat so the plate didn’t slide around over the years. Otherwise, the image has some mold spiders visible at an angle.
