M. B. GILMORE. The cool ID scratched in the emulsion of this sixth plate ambrotype does not tell us if M.B. was the man or woman pictured here. One of them was born on January 3rd, 1835. The ambro is lovely, with bright gold tinting. The glass is old, so there is some dust under there. Otherwise, the condition is good.
